Premium Heavy Duty Shipping Container Single Door with PU Foam Insulation and Anti-Vandal Features
SHIPPING CONTAINER SINGLE DOOR
These shipping container personnel doors have been designed purposely for the shipping container manufacture and conversion industry. PU foam insulation, a fully welded frame, and sealed joints make for a stiff, rigid door set ready for easy installation when welding into a shipping container. An increased tolerance has been factored in to allow for movement in the shipping container when in transit or when a shipping container is positioned on an uneven surface.
Finish
Wet sprayed with a grey primer finish, our doors are prepped to take your final paint coat on-site. We recommend painting within 24 hours of installation.
Construction
Manufactured with 1mm galvanized steel door skins and 2mm galvanized steel frames.
Insulation
Insulated with polyurethane foam (also known as PU foam), the door leaf AND frame are injected with PU foam for superior insulation values and improved strength and rigidity.
Internal Reinforcements
A full subframe, weld mesh, door closer reinforcing plate, and additional corner struts are welded inside the door for additional strength and integrity.
Locking System
The multi-point locking system is installed in our container doors. The locking system is protected with 2mm lock boxes and stainless steel tubes to protect the connecting rods. An adjustable latch keep is integrated into the strike plate and lock box to allow for on-site adjustments.
DDA Compliant Threshold
This door complies with the Disability Discrimination Act by having a level threshold with a maximum upstand of only 12mm with chamfered edges. The threshold is manufactured from stainless steel.
ANTI-VANDAL
Not Your Standard Security Door
These anti-vandal container doors have been engineered purposely for this industry, making it unique and very different from other doors in our ranges. PU foam insulation, a fully welded frame, and sealed joints make for a stiff, rigid door set for easy installation when welding into a shipping container. Compared to the standard ranges, an increased tolerance has been factored in to allow for movement in the shipping container when in transit, or for when it is positioned on an uneven surface.
